DATA RESIDENT PROGRAMS

Built upon a proven model, Quansight's data resident programs let you tap hidden pools of talent to fill your Data Science roles.

TALENT SHORTAGE

The market for Data Science and Analytics skills is getting more and more competitive. Schools are
educating new data scientists but companies are adding data science roles at a much faster rate.
Positions are taking longer to fill and salaries are rising sharply. In this type of market, innovative and
non-traditional approaches to filling data science positions are required. Quansight's Residency
Program is just such an approach.

NEW ENTRANTS

Many capable people are entering the data science field from other disciplines that also use heavy data
analysis. They come from engineering, physics, finance, medicine and academia. Their past careers have prepared them with many skills valuable to data science roles. They may lack specific skills or industry experience, but Quansight's Residency Program pairs these new entrants with one of our seasoned experts to provide all the skills and experience necessary to fill a position on your team.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

We assess the minimum skills required to fill your open position by discussing with you your needs. We then look for a candidate who has those capabilities or can quickly close any gaps and hire them as a
Quansight employee. We pair that candidate with an expert from Quansight or our network who can
provide the experienced mentorship to ensure the candidate will succeed. A typical residency lasts 12 to 18 months after which the resident is ready for permanent hire and independent work. At any time
after the first three months, if you decide that the resident is ready for full time employment, we can
arrange for you to hire them.

DATA SCIENCE RESIDENT PROGRAM

Does your organization collect potentially valuable data awaiting exploration? Does your team require greater expertise in advanced statistics, data visualization, machine learning, or natural language processing to extract that value? Or perhaps you just need to add additional bandwidth to your existing team? A Data Science Resident can design, prototype, & evaluate models underlying your data required for practical data products. Connect with us to see if our Data Science Resident program breaks through your current talent bottleneck.

DATA ENGINEERING RESIDENT PROGRAM

Does executing your data workflows require costly repetitive manual interventions? Do you need to accelerate your data analysis & development cycles? A Data Engineering Resident can design data architectures & apply workflow automation tools to build systems with continuous integration. By building data dashboards & documentation, they can ensure your processes and data are easily monitored and reproducible. Connect with us to see if our Data Engineering Resident program completes your team's need for talent.

DATA OPERATIONS RESIDENT PROGRAM

Do you need help integrating your data products with available infrastructure at scale? Do you need to operationalize data pipelines to improve productivity? A Data Ops Resident can maintain robust, secure connections between various data sources with cloud providers and/or your own network. Connect with us to see if our Data Ops Resident program works for you.

JOB SEEKERS: ARE YOU A CANDIDATE FOR OUR RESIDENT PROGRAMS?

Our Data Resident Programs are designed to help people with the right skills and motivation to kick start their careers. If your experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computational Engineering, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, or DevOps from school or elsewhere has given you substantial skills in Python Programming, Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Databases, System Administration, or Visualization and you are motivated to learn additional skills through an on-the-job experience, we would like to talk to you.
